Chris Gomes, executive managing director at Marcus & Millichap’s Dallas and Houston offices, held the exclusive listing to represent the seller. Gomes also secured the buyer, an out-of-state limited liability company. Skyler Cooper, senior vice president in the Dallas and Houston offices; Allan Miller, senior managing director in the Austin and San Antonio offices; and Hussain Shaik, senior associate in the Dallas office, were listed on the transaction as a supporting broker. Colby Haugness, regional manager, and the firm’s broker of record in Kansas, assisted in facilitating the closing of this transaction.
The Sleep Inn & Suites is a 67-room, midscale, interior-corridor Hotel located at 2075 Sewell Avenue in Colby, Kansas. The Hotel is highly visible off Interstate 70 which runs east-west through Kansas and provides prime connections to major cities like Denver, Colorado and Kansas City, Missouri. The property was recently renovated in 2022, and offers common area amenities including a business center, fitness center, breakfast buffet area, guest laundry facility and meeting room.
