Michael Klar is a Senior Associate specializing in the sale of hotel assets and is currently based in Chicago. He partners with Ebrahim Valliani on the Miller-Gomes Hotel Team, focusing primarily on Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and surrounding areas.

Michael brings extensive expertise in advising investors involved in owning, operating, and developing hospitality properties both in the Midwest and across the nation. Since joining Marcus & Millichap, he has played a crucial role in closing over 120 hotel transactions totaling over $400 million in the United States.

With a deep understanding of the hotel industry from both an owner’s and buyer’s perspective, Michael leverages his educational background in Investment Real Estate Management from The School of Hospitality Business at Michigan State University. His professional experience encompasses working with both private and institutional investors, equipping him with the skills to effectively guide clients toward achieving their real estate objectives.
